ABOUT
Iavor Lubomirov
was born in 1978 in Bulgaria
and lives and works in London,
United Kingdom. In 2000 Iavor completed his degree and
Masters in Mathematics at Oxford University in England, where he was awarded
prizes and scholarships from the university and outside institutions. After graduating he studied art at night
school while working for a blue-chip corporation in the City and later left
to study for a BA in Fine Art at University
of East London. Since 2005 he has worked as an independent
artist, curator and exhibition organiser.
He has shown at galleries and underground spaces in England, Sweden
and Germany,
including The Royal Academy of Art in 2007 and the Liverpool Independents
Biennial in 2008. In 2007, together
with Goldsmiths graduate Jordan Dalladay-Simpson, he founded the art network
ALISN (http://www.alisn.org),
through which he has been helping many emerging artists to show their work in
the UK and abroad.
